Like this "demand math" piece. One of the things I would like to see emphasized more is the idea that this $1 Trillion per year is not a one way spend, that it is not a sacrifice and bitter pill that we need to swallow without demur. Fact is that while some of this $1Trillion per year (or more) may be a bit of an opportunity cost or otherwise unplanned spend, most if not the vast majority of it will be spent driving and result in new economic and socially beneficial effort, incremental to and possibly replacing, redirecting or stopping otherwise wasteful spend. It may well be the seed underlying the 10X increase in GDP-GNI being forecast.
